What Boarding looks like with us
I am very selective about who accesses our boarding facility. You and horses are expected to uphold high standards of behavior. I operate this as a business, and once business hours are over, I prioritize relaxing at home and riding my own horses in solitude. Our boarding services stand out from many in the area. Since we use our facility for lessons and training, we limit the number of horses boarded who are ridden regularly, preventing congestion in the arena and on our property.

All boarders who ride participate in lessons at least once a month, unless pre discussed. If you are deemed unsafe, not seeking improvement, or mismatched with your horse according to our standards, you may be asked to. Our primary focus is training, and boarding is secondary; we do not want riders who do not align with our horsemanship values or pose a risk to themselves or others. We do not allow outis

Retirement boarding is our specialty. Stephanie has a knack for caring for older horses and loves keeping them happy and active in their senior years. We have an excellent system for feeding both hard keepers and easy keepers throughout the year. Horses enjoy turnout or pasture for 90% of their time, with blanketing and year extras included in the package. Farrier appointments, vaccinations (when needed), and dental care are all part of their treatment. We have retirement horses who see their owners only a few times a year, and we keep in touch with updates and photos monthly. Our contract includes an end-of-life management plan for retirement boarding because we believe that a week early is better than a day late, priorit quality over quantity of life. Our oldest retirement horse in 2024 is Vinny, a 31-year-old imported Warmblood who was quite the show jumper in his prime. boarding, including pasture boarding, comes with full care, which includes feeding with our hay and your supplements when not on community pasture.

Pens and shelters are generally not rented unless for safety reasons; proud cut, founder-prone horses). We have limited boarding space, and no horse has a "stall." Horses are rotated to avoid buddy sour behavior.

For overnight boarding, we occasionally have space for 3-7 horses depending on the season. Current coggins and health records are prior to entry. Horses will be unloaded into their overnight pens and are not allowed to turn out, graze, or roam the property for biosecurity reasons. We provide water buckets and ensure each pen has water before your arrival unless you prefer to bring your own. Feed must be given in hay nets or on rubber mats in the—no exceptions, as we maintain clean sand pens. The rate is $30 per night per, with an additional $15 for power hook-up for living quarters. Dogs are not allowed on the property.
We also offer short-term boarding for vacations and other circumstances, with weekly or monthly rates available based on space. Bookings are flexible to your schedule, but we recommend reserving several months in advance to secure your spot, allowing you to enjoy your trip knowing your horses will receive the care you've paid for.
